The Device Decryption Add-on is integrated into Passware Kit Ultimate and is available as an option for Passware Kit Forensic.

Macs with Apple T2 Security Chips

Device Decryption Add-on is an exclusive solution that recovers passwords for all Macs with Apple T2 Security Chips and decrypts APFS images. It also recovers or instantly resets Mac EFI firmware password that prevents the image acquisition.

It requires a connection of the target Mac with a USB-C or Thunderbolt cable during the password recovery process.

Western Digital My Passport Disks

Device Decryption Add-on supports My Passport Series 2014-2023 HDD with built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption, providing the capability to unlock or decrypt them, and recover original protection passwords.
