What is Passware Password Exchange?

Password Exchange provides access to the list of passwords found by Passware Kit users worldwide, offering it as an advanced dictionary to improve chances of finding strong passwords.

This is an opt-in service available for Passware Kit Forensic customers only.

Optional Manual Sync mode allows one to use Password Exchange in air-gapped environments.

In this mode, a human-readable text file (JSON) may be copied to a computer that has Internet access to export passwords to the Passware server and import new passwords from the Passware database to the computer running Passware Kit.

Password found, file type, attack type, time it took to find a password. No other information is sent.

You can enable or disable Password Exchange option at any time at Tools | Options | Password Exchange.

You can use Password Exchange in air-gapped environments in Manual Sync mode.
