Passware Customer Experience Improvement Program
The program is designed to help us improve the quality, usability, and performance of Passware Software. Participation is voluntary, and no personal information is collected.
What information is collected?
We want to know what you are doing, in what order. We don't want anything personal, like your name, address, phone number, or even passwords or file names.
Here are some examples of what we collect information about:
- System hardware and OS
- Types of files you process
- Which tools and attacks you use in Passware Kit
- Which attacks are the most successful
How will this affect me, if I choose to participate?
It won't. You just go on using Passware products like you always have.
If I decide to do it but I change my mind, can I opt-out later?
Absolutely, you can opt-out at any time. Click Tools|Options, Customer Experience, and select "No, thank you".
Is CEIP spyware?
No, spyware collects information from your computer without your knowledge or consent. The CEIP program will only collect the information described above and will send no personal information about you to Passware.
Do I need an Internet connection?
An Internet connection is required to participate in this program. However, you do not need to be connected all the time. When an Internet connection becomes available, the information is automatically transmitted with minimal impact to your connection.
